Shadow Ban

What it is: A hidden restriction on TikTok where your videos don’t appear in recommendations, get 0–10 views, and fail to gain reach, even if the post has passed moderation.

Signs of a Shadow Ban:

• 0 views within 10–30 minutes after posting

• Instant publishing without review

• Complete lack of traffic even on a high-quality creative

Reasons:

• Repetitive or spammy content

• Use of "overused" tags

• Poor or blocked IP/VPN

• Violations in BIO, username, or avatar

• Mismatch between language/geo

How to get out of a shadow ban:

1. Uniquify the video

2. Reconnect the VPN, change the IP/Proxy.

3. Change the upload GEO (countries are randomly blocked).

4. Change the phone language to the target geo's language.

5. Upload the first video on a "clean" geo, and the rest on the target geo.

6. Change the Wi-Fi SSID.

7. Change the creative’s design (font, text, color, effects).

Bypassing "Zero Views" and Bans:

• Upload the video without a description.

• Without tags / with different tags.

• Without text / with new text.

• Without sound.

• With a new avatar and BIO.

• Check the IP on whoer.com and scamalytics.com — the risk should be below 15%.
